Background
Malnutrition affects around a billion people worldwide. A billion people consider themselves lucky if they find anything to eat at all. But the worst part is, at least 3.5 million children die every year from problems caused by malnutrition. Enzyme-Aid is a way to change this. This drink contains enzymes that act as food enzymes, providing your body with the nutrients and vitamins it needs to stay nourished. The affect that Enzyme-Aid could have on our world would be life changing. Not only would it save many lives, but it would also improve the lives of those barely surviving.
Benefits
Scientists have come to conclude that we are a "fruit-eating" species. However not many people consume the amount of fruits or raw foods that the body needs. When you cook food you are killing all of the live enzymes in the food. So when your body is trying to break it down, it lacks the necessary enzymes to do so which allows food to sit in your stomach. When the food sits in your stomach the body simply stores it as fat and the digestive enzymes can't distribute the nutrients throughout the body. This means your body will have a shortage of vitamins, minerals, and other essentail nutrients which make it easier for the body to become ill or pick-up up some kind of health issue. Enzyme-Aid will imitate live food enzymes that you killed while cooking food. These enzymes will adjust to the type of foods you ingest and break them down for the use of your body. Enzyme-Aid will decrease the number of obese people in the world which will make people healthier and feel better about themselves. Enzymes are considered one of the most essential elements in our body. Without enzymes our bodies simply wouldn't be able to function.
Possible Drawbacks
A possible drawback for our idea would be if you drank too much Enzyme-Aid. You could become seriously ill due to the amount of enzymes you put into your body. This could possibly lead to health problems such as Cystic Fibrosis, Low Enzyme Production and Type II Diabetes. Cystic Fibrosis uses pancreatic enzymes to help aid in the functions of organs that are breaking down. When too many enzymes are ingested, issues arise in the large intestine. This causes stomach pain, cramping, and diarrhea. Low Enzyme production happens due to the body getting used to being provided with digestive enzymes. The body will dramatically slow down enzyme production which may cause long term weight gain. Type II Diabetes may be caused due to the enzymes subtly slowing down the digestion of carbohydrates in the intestines, which leads to a slower rise of blood sugar. These drawbacks would only go into effect if one were not to follow the suggested serving size found on the label of the bottle.
